July 25, 2024On Saturday, 1 June 2024, 16 members from Hikari Martial Arts Gym competed in the ASJJF Malaysia International Jiu Jitsu Open held at Tropicana Gardens Mall, Selangor, Malaysia and we are thrilled to announce that our team secured an overall 2nd place finish! It was a remarkable event for ASJJF Malaysia. Here’s a breakdown of our competitors’ achievements:

Celebrating Success with Open Mat
We took advantage of hosting an open mat session on the following Monday, 3 June 2024, which happened to be a public holiday to welcome visitors who participated from other countries. As part of celebrating ASJJF Malaysia achievements, over 50 people attended, including our gym members and international visitors who competed in the tournament. It was a fantastic open mat session filled with training, camaraderie, and the forging of new friendships for everyone in ASJJF Malaysia.
